Our specialist crew training service means crew can be trained to become PADI Divemasters and PADI Instructors. Our team have also created a specialty for PADI Professionals called the Yacht Diver PADI Dinstinctive Specialty course.
The Yacht Diver PADI Dinstinctive Specialty has been developed to provide PADI professionals with the skills that they need to be able to effectively dive and teach from a Megayacht. Working in conjunction with Lauderdale Diver, the Yacht Diver PADI Dinstinctive Specialty covers:
Advanced dive planning and preparation specifically in areas unknown to the PADI Professional; Emergency Marine Radio use; Knots; Working with Megayacht guests and Megayacht rules.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will have the option of being added to an international database of PADI Instructors and Divemasters who may be called upon to join a Megayacht for diving and training on a freelance basis. Candidates for this database must, in addition to completing the Yacht Diver PADI Dinstinctive Specialty, show that they consistently work to the highest standard with exemplary customer service skills.
Prerequisites: PADI Divemaster or above in active/teaching status
Duration: 2 days
Requirements: Yacht Diver PADI Dinstinctive Specialty candidates must have their own full set of dive equipment as set out in the PADI Instructor Manual. This kit must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations (normally an annual service by an authorized technician).
