Lauderdale Diver offers daily dive charters on many professional local charter boats We do not have our own boat, but book many divers every day.

We know the good boats, their schedules and their reputation. - If a boat is unable to run, we will try our best to get you on another one. - We offer excellent rental gear and a dive package that includes full set of rental equipment and boat trip (does not include: mask, fins and snorkel) - Scuba diving in the Fort Lauderdale area offers some of the best scuba diving in the USA.

The water temperatures average from 72 to 78 degrees in the winter and 82 to 88 in the summer, which makes it a great year round diving destination. Visibility averages around 60 feet.

Daily Florida Snorkel Trips

Lauderdale Diver can book your snorkel trip, which departs daily from Fort Lauderdale at 10.15am and 2.15pm on the glass bottom boat. Beginners are welcome and snorkeling equipment and instruction is included.

Dive Boat II

Fathoms is a 38' Burpee with room for a maximum of 22 divers. Fathoms is US Coast Guard certified and offers a camera table, head, fresh water shower, large shaded cabin, and custom designed ladders and platform Fathoms also boasts the area's only misting system for those hot summer days and a Bose sound system and plenty of great music.

Dive Boat III

This boat was manufactured by Newton Dive Boats in Slidell, Louisiana. It boasts a 15 foot beam, 40 foot length overall, and has all the amenities that have contributed to the ever-growing popularity. This boat is a United States Coast Guard certified vessel and accommodates up to 24 divers. It has dual fresh water showers, an enclosed head and changing room, and plenty of deck space so you never feel crowded.

Dive Boat IV

This dive boat is a US Coast Guard certified vessel which runs daily scuba diving and snorkeling charters from the Bahia Mar marina in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is a 45' Corinthian Catamaran with very spacious deck space, a glass bottom window and outfitted to accommodate scuba divers, snorkelers and sight seers. The boat has many amenities for the passengers.

Greater Fort Lauderdale is home to a three- tiered barrier reef that parallels 23 miles (37 kilometers) of world famous white sand beaches.

Local Florida Reefs

There are many fantastic reefs around the local Ft Lauderdale area that are accessible for divers and snorkelers and abound with life. These shallow reefs are favored by many scuba divers during lobster season where you will see the reefs crawling with bugs. Grouper, tarpon and snook also like to take refuge under the shallow water ledges. Nurse sharks and a variety of tropical fish including are also seen. The shallow water allows the sunshine to penetrate the sea floor aiding the growth of the reefs. The light also allows snorkelers and divers to see the beautiful colors of the reef.

Local Florida Wreck Diving

Fort Lauderdale and Pompano are home to many great wreck dives. These artificial reefs are all sunken vessels that flourish with lots of marine life with the exception of the Copenhagen, which is a natural reef.
